NFDI4Earth Education Pilot

My project “Teaching Lead Isotope Geochemistry and Application in Archaeometry (LIGA-A)” was successful in this year’s round of the NFDI4Eaducational pilots!

Co-lead by Sabine Klein and me and supported by Tim Greifelt and the GlobaLID Core Team, the project aims to develop educational materials about the formation, measurement, handlung and interpretation of lead isotope signatures in archaeological contexts such as metal provenance, the reconstruction of past exchange networks, and the environmental impact of mining. A special focus of the project will be the design of educational materials that are highly accessible with regards to the software requirements and potential impairments of the learners such as colour blindness.
